Main purpose of the role:
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority. Interact with each customer with great pride, passion and care and inspire shoppers through knowledge and expertise.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs
  • Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer driven
  • Previous customer service experience is an advantage.

  • Show a positive attitude and take responsibility for ensuring customers receive an excellent shopping experience
  • Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and consistent with store policy
  • Merchandise shelves, ensuring that all areas of the store are presented to the highest standard
  • Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.


    • About the locality:

    This position is for our Ballivor Store, Birds Centra Main Street Ballivor Co. Meath

    Appox 30 hours to start

    Please note that start and finish times stated are only an approximate but will include morning, afternoon and evening shifts. The successul candidate must be available to work across these hours. ( If your availability is different please call into the store and discuss with the store manager)

    As a sales assistant you are required to sell alcohol/tobacco products thereforeyou must be over 18to work in the store.

    This role and includes working in all areas of the store, eg Shop Floor & Deli

    Full training will be provided to the successful candidate


    Monday shift:08:00 to 04:00

    Wednesday shift:16:00 to 21:30

    Thursday shift:12:00 to 21:30

    Saturday shift:09:00 to 17:00

    Sunday shift:15:00 to 21:30
